What Does It Mean to Be “Real”?

Trinket the Robot is more than a puppet show – it's a whimsical and thought-provoking journey into what it means to be alive. Created by Little Wing Puppets and touring with Arts North West On Tour, this solo performance blends humour, interaction, and storytelling into an unforgettable experience for children aged 3+ and their grown-ups.

The Story

Inspired by Pinocchio, Dr Doovalacky, an eccentric inventor, builds a robot named Trinket with help from his curious caterpillar assistant, Gizmo. But Trinket isn’t just built to walk and talk—he’s designed to feel. With help from the audience, he’ll learn what it truly means to be human: experiencing not just joy and wonder, but also fear, frustration, and the pain of goodbyes.

Come Dressed for Invention!

Join the fun by dressing as your favourite inventor! From mad scientist goggles to quirky lab coats, kids are encouraged to get imaginative and help bring this interactive world to life.
