Let your kids become a Junior Ranger for the day in the incredible surrounds of Warrumbungle National Park!
This fun and educational experience begins at the Warrumbungle Visitor Centre, where children will meet a friendly discovery ranger before heading out on an exciting outdoor adventure.
The program includes a short and engaging 1km bushwalk, where kids will explore the sights and sounds of the bush through interactive games. Along the way, they’ll learn to track animals, identify birdsong, and discover how plants and animals are connected in this unique environment.
After the walk, participants will enjoy a guided craft activity, creating a nature-inspired keepsake to take home — reinforcing what they’ve learned while encouraging creativity.
This experience is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong respect for nature. Kids are encouraged to ask questions, work together, and immerse themselves in the outdoors.
