The Warrumbungle Region is located in Central NSW, 5-6 hours from Sydney. The region is about half way between Melbourne and Brisbane and the regional centres of Dubbo and Tamworth are within two hours drive.

Getting Around
Touring by Car
If you’re travelling from Sydney’s west to the region, the most direct route is via the Great Western Highway through the Blue Mountains to Mudgee and then along the Castlereagh Highway through the towns of Dunedoo and Mendooran.
Coach
Countrylink has daily services from Sydney to the region stopping at Dunedoo, Coolah, Mendooran, Binnaway, Coonabarabran and Baradine. Air
There are three airports in the surrounding region that have regular flights from Sydney.
Dubbo is located to the south of the region and has regular Qantas and Rex Airlines flights from Sydney.
Qantas also flies regularly to Tamworth, within 2 hours drive east of the region and Narrabri, approximately one hour’s drive north of the region.

Car hire is available at Dubbo airport from Avis, Budget, Hertz and Thrifty.
