 Open Day at Siding Spring, Saturday 5th October


Your chance to take a closer look at the operations of Australia’s largest optical telescope site; guided tours to out of the way observatories with astronomy staff; market stalls, food and wine; face painting and free jumping castle for the kids; science exhibitions; Questacon activities and free access to the Exploratory Centre. Make this a great family day out.

Venue: Siding Spring Observatory is located 27km west of Coonabarabran along John Renshaw Parkway.

Time: 9am - 4pm
